Respiratory Illness

HCMC's current masking policy: 

Anyone entering HCMC must wear a well-fitted face covering at all times if you have respiratory illness symptoms, which can include:

  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Body aches
  • Headache
  • Runny nose
  • Loss of taste/smell
  • Shortness of breath

Other Policies include:

  • COVID, flu, and RSV vaccines and boosters for all ages are available at HCMC. Call the clinic to make an appointment.
  • Patient visitors are allowed. Anyone visiting must be healthy and are required to check in at the front desk. 
  • If visiting a patient in isolation, you will be required to apply appropriate personal protective equipment before entering the patient's room. 
  • HCMC has in-house testing capabilities for a variety of respiratory pathogens and viruses if you have symptoms and your doctor orders the test.
